Previewing a day before you sync
At the bottom of Step 6 — Connect your calendar is a Live Preview: pick a day, and Dayfolio lists the events it would put on that day's page, using your current selections, colors and Hide events containing words. Nothing is regenerated and nothing is sent to your reMarkable; it's a dry run.
How to use it
Connect or adjust your calendars in Step 6.
In Calendar preview, tap the date chip and choose any day of this week or next week (today is preselected).
Read the list: each event with its time and calendar color. Press the refresh icon to fetch the calendars again after changing something at the source.
The preview uses your planner's time zone (shown on the right), so times appear the way they will on the page.
What it's good for
Checking a new connection — the right calendars are selected and the events you expect are there.
Testing hidden words — add "Lunch" to Hide events containing and see it leave the list.
Understanding a missing event — if it's not in the preview, the planner won't have it either: the calendar is unchecked, the event matches a hidden word, or it isn't in the source calendar. If it is in the preview but not on the Day View, it's outside your Day View hours (Step 4) or the planner on the tablet is older than your last change. When the preview looks right, press Sync now to regenerate the planner.
