reMarkable tips that work well with Dayfolio
Tag meeting notes by project
reMarkable's tags work on individual pages. Tag a meeting's notes page with the project or client name and you can pull up every related meeting from the reMarkable home screen, even when they are unrelated one-off invites that Dayfolio can't group into a series.
Adjust view when the layout doesn't match the screen
If you open a Move-layout planner on a Paper Pro (or the other way round), tap ⋮ menu (three dots) → Adjust view → Fit to height (or Fit to width). The same menu fixes a planner that suddenly looks narrow after an update. See Planner looks narrow, small or cut off.
Better contrast on black-and-white devices
On a reMarkable 2 or Paper Pure, choose Dayfolio's Black & White (High Contrast) appearance and turn on High legibility in Step 1. If your reMarkable has ⋮ → Increase contrast (the Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move do), switch it from Adaptive to Full page so colored calendar events read as solid blocks too. See Better contrast on black & white devices.
Duplicate safely for testing
To check whether a link that won't open is a page-index problem, long-press the planner in My files → Duplicate → Original document (not With edits). The copy has no handwriting and no local page index, so it shows the planner exactly as Dayfolio generated it. If the link works in the copy, run Repair planner index. Delete the copy afterwards.
Two things to avoid
Don't delete the planner file from your reMarkable. Dayfolio updates that specific file; without it, sync fails. If you deleted it by mistake, restore it from the reMarkable Trash and press Sync now. Renaming or moving it to a folder is fine. See Renaming, moving or deleting the planner file.
Don't duplicate pages inside the planner to get more space. Use Add note page instead — see Add a note page anywhere in your planner.
