Why Meeting Notes pages aren't in date order in the file
If you page through the planner file on your reMarkable, or look at its page overview, you may notice that Meeting Notes pages aren't in strict date order: a meeting added last week can sit after meetings from next month, and new pages tend to appear toward the end of the file. That's by design.
Why the order follows creation, not the calendar
A Meeting Notes page is created when its meeting enters the window you chose in Step 7 (see How far ahead pages are created (2 or 4 weeks)). From then on it keeps its place in the file, because every sync rebuilds the planner around your handwriting, and moving a page would separate it from the notes written on it. So:
pages created in the same sync are in date order;
a meeting added to your calendar later gets the next free page, toward the end of the file (one of the reserved pages — see Reached a blank "Reserved page"? Your planner is still there);
a meeting that is moved or canceled keeps its page where it is — see Your notes stay: canceled meetings, year end and beyond.
Finding a meeting's page
You never need to page through the file:
Tap the event (with your finger) on the Day, Week or Month View to open its notes page.
Open the Meetings Index from the list icon in the header: meetings are listed by date, with tabs for Recent, Upcoming, With notes and Archived. See Meetings Index and Series pages.
For a recurring meeting, use ‹ previous / next › or the SERIES button at the top of its notes page.
Don't reorder pages on the tablet
Moving, duplicating or deleting pages in the reMarkable page overview can put the planner's page index out of step, and links then open the wrong page. If that happens, see Repair planner index.
