Carry handwritten tasks to the next day
Handwritten tasks aren't linked to a task app, so Dayfolio can't mark them done or carry them forward for you. Two ways to deal with unfinished items:
Handwritten tasks: copy and paste
On today's Day View, choose the Selection tool in the reMarkable toolbar.
Draw around the To Do List lines you want to carry over.
Tap Copy (or Cut).
Go to tomorrow's Day View (‹ › arrows or the Week View).
Tap Paste and drop the selection onto the To Do List lines.
It takes a few seconds and avoids rewriting.
App tasks: automatic carry-forward
If your tasks come from Todoist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do or Microsoft Planner, turn on Move unfinished tasks to today in Task settings. Open tasks from yesterday then appear on today's page on the next sync, and their due date is updated in your task app as well. Completed tasks stay on the day you completed them, in green, as a record. See Move unfinished tasks to today.
Tip
If you keep rewriting the same handwritten tasks, they may be better off in a task app: they'll get a due date, show up on the right day automatically, and you can still tick them off with your pen.
