What is Dayfolio and how does it work?

Dayfolio is a smart digital planner built specifically for reMarkable tablets. Instead of a static PDF template, Dayfolio generates a hyperlinked planner that is already filled with your real calendar events, your tasks, and a dedicated notes page for each meeting — and keeps it up to date every day.

How it works

  1. You set up your planner once at app.dayfolio.io: choose your device and layout, connect your calendars and task apps, and connect your reMarkable account.

  2. Dayfolio generates your planner as a hyperlinked PDF and delivers it to your reMarkable through the reMarkable Cloud — the same cloud your tablet already uses to sync documents.

  3. Every day (and whenever you press Sync now), Dayfolio rebuilds the planner with your latest events and tasks and sends the updated file to your device. Your handwritten notes stay exactly where you wrote them.

What you get

  • Day, Week, Month and Year views, all linked to each other so you can navigate by tapping.

  • Calendar events from Google Calendar, Microsoft/Outlook, Apple iCloud and any other calendar that offers an iCal (ICS) link.

  • Tasks from Todoist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do or Microsoft Planner, placed on the right day. Tick them off with your pen and they are completed in your task app on the next sync.

  • Meeting Notes pages created automatically for your meetings, linked from the event itself, with Previous/Next navigation for recurring meetings.

  • Indexes for your meetings, recurring meeting series and tasks.

What you don't need

  • No Developer Mode. Nothing is installed or modified on your tablet. Dayfolio only sends a document through the reMarkable Cloud.

  • No cable and no desktop app. Setup happens in your web browser — Mac, Windows, iPhone or Android all work.

  • No paid reMarkable Connect subscription. Dayfolio uses your regular reMarkable Cloud account, the one you use to register and manage your device.

Supported devices

reMarkable Paper Pro, reMarkable Paper Pro Move, reMarkable 2, reMarkable Paper Pure and reMarkable 1. The Move has its own layout designed for its smaller screen. See Supported reMarkable devices for details.

Dayfolio is not only for meeting-heavy workdays. Many people use it purely for personal planning — the Meeting Notes feature is optional.
