Supported reMarkable devices
Dayfolio is built for reMarkable tablets. The planner is a hyperlinked PDF delivered through the reMarkable Cloud, so it works on every reMarkable that syncs with the cloud, with nothing installed on the device.
Devices and layouts
reMarkable Paper Pro — full-size layout, color screen.
reMarkable Paper Pro Move — Move layout, color screen.
reMarkable 2 — full-size layout, black-and-white screen.
reMarkable Paper Pure — full-size layout, black-and-white screen.
reMarkable 1 — full-size layout, black-and-white screen.
The full-size layout was designed on the Paper Pro and fits every full-size screen. See Full-size vs. Move layouts.
The Move layout is a separate design for the Move's smaller screen — its pages, tabs and touch targets were laid out for that screen rather than shrunk from the full-size planner.
On black-and-white screens, pick the Black & White (High Contrast) appearance and High legibility in Step 1 — see Better contrast on black & white devices.
You choose the device format in Step 1 — Name & appearance when creating a planner (Full-size reMarkable or Paper Pro Move); the appearance can be changed at any time.
What you need
A reMarkable signed in to a reMarkable account and connected to Wi-Fi. That's the standard cloud every tablet uses; a paid reMarkable Connect subscription isn't required.
A browser for app.dayfolio.io — Mac, Windows, iPhone or Android. There's no app to install: the planner lives on the tablet, the settings live on the web.
What you don't need
No Developer Mode. Dayfolio sends a document through the reMarkable Cloud, like any other file; nothing on the tablet is modified. Leave Developer Mode off.
No cable. Pairing is a one-time code from my.remarkable.com — see Connecting your reMarkable account.
More than one tablet
A planner delivered to your reMarkable account appears on every tablet signed in to that account, at no extra cost. How that works with a Paper Pro and a Move together is in Using Dayfolio on two reMarkable devices.
reMarkable software versions
Dayfolio works with the current reMarkable software. reMarkable occasionally changes its cloud service — most often in beta versions — and Dayfolio adapts quickly when that happens; see My planner didn't update — checklist if a sync fails right after an update.
